We don’t just make tribute videos and we don’t always use humour. Check out a funny Costco training video in the spirit of John’s Cleese’s famous ‘Meetings, Bloody Meetings’; a witty gala video parodying the Barber of Seville and a stirring documentary shown at a hospital fundraiser about organ-transplant recipients given a second lease on life.

Videos for companies

Training video

This video was produced to train food demonstrators at Costco stores. These clips show how we used humour to successfully teach the “right ways” and “wrong ways” to do the job.

Retirement video

Every year a large law firm holds a Black-Tie Night to honour partners who are retiring or marking 25 years with the firm. This clip is from one of many short recognition videos we produced for them. We enlivened the interviews using simple animations.

Awards video

Short tribute videos can add great value to an awards event - and needn’t cost a lot. This video was one of two profiling men who were inducted into the Ontario Road Builders’ Association Hall of Fame at their convention in 2017.

videos for families

Legacy video

Legacy videos come in all shapes and sizes. The video featuring a former Supreme Court justice was simple but effective, while the ones profiling the family patriarchs from Kitchener, Ontario and Beirut, Lebanon were more ambitious.

Birthday video

This section from a 40th-birthday video for a Toronto dentist is called “Brace Yourself; It’s Nicki” - but not just because she wore a huge dental appliance as a child.

Videos for non-profits

Fundraising event video

This stirring documentary, which profiles organ-transplant survivors given a second lease on life, was part of a gala fundraiser for the University of Toronto/UHN’s Multi-Organ Transplantation Institute.

Person-of-the-year  video

Isadore Sharp, founder of Four Seasons Hotels and benefactor of the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, was being honoured by a charity and and they wanted “wow factor”. This clip is from an opera aria we wrote based on "The Barber of Seville" - "The Hotelier of T.O."

Conference video

Mission: to inspire and educate the researchers and dignitaries attending the 10th-anniversary conference of the Terry Fox Research Institute in 2017. Our two short videos were a hit and are still being shown at subsequent scientific gatherings across Canada. Here are clips from both videos.
